Welcome! I’m Jemma, a certified Nail Technician and Manicurist and the founder of Almond Nails.
I started Almond Nails to help anyone looking for nail guides, tips and reccomendations for all things nails.
My inspiration for starting Almond Nails was my own personal experience.
Here’s my story…
I was you.
Inexperienced, on a budget, and confused as to how to craft my own beautiful nails myself.
At that moment I realized that I needed some extra education, and this was the birth of my certification.
It has led me into a fruitful career; I’ve worked in many salons over the years as a professional nail technician and manicurist,
There I was, after gaining my certification and with all my years of experience.
But even I had a question or two from time to time.
I ran a few searches online and found out that there was not a lot of information publically available on what I wanted, or needed to know.
There was a lot of random Pinterest Pins and Videos out there but they didn’t really help resolve the common questions.
Knowing all that I know did, I just sat there and thought – what chance does a beginner have?
Besides, I had spent a lot of time studying nail design, nail products and techniques.
I was accustomed to being the one with the answers on all matters pertaining to manicures.
I could easily work with hundreds of clients a week with my eyes closed and had fitted more acrylics than can physically be counted.
But it was in my head.
It was no good there.
It was there and then that I decided to create AlmondNails.com – I wanted to document all that I had learned.
My mission is for AlmondNails.com to be the go to resource for all things nails.
Not just for almond nails (my favorite design by the way), but for all other designs, styles, techniques and product reccomendations too.
So, this is the reason behind this site.
If I’ve done my job right, you’ll leave this site with more knowledge than you came here with.
In fact, I hope your question has been permanently answered – and solved.
So please let me know how I am doing.
I’d love to hear from you and to keep improving this site.
Thanks and Welcome!
